Newly Appointment CLC Principal

Effective today, Mr. Duncan, will be principal at both South Central Interior Distance Education School (SCIDES) and our alternate program, Community Learning Center (CLC). With our new strategic plan, Wellness is one of the three pillars with a focus on relationships. As SCIDES and CLC are housed within the same building, Mr. Duncan assuming this role allows for daily connection and deeper relationships with our students.

We wish to thank Mr. Andersen for his dedication to the Community Learning Center (CLC) and all of his work to date. Mr. Andersen will now have additional time for instructional leadership at Merritt Secondary School (MSS) to improve our numeracy and literacy results as Learning is the second pillar of our Strategic Plan. The transition will be smooth and collaborative. Thank-you to both Mr. Duncan and Mr. Andersen for their flexibility and always putting our students first.
